Our varied experience with commercial and sports developments has enabled us to offer domestic clients two options to create a quality lawn.

• Turf Laying provides an instant lawn. We use only TGA-approved turf from Commercial turf growers. We never substitute "downgraded" or budget turf , but only use Quality turf. In smaller areas or where access is difficult for the compact tractor, turf laying often provides the most cost effective lawn. With the necessary watering and aftercare the lawn can be in use within two to three weeks, depending on the time of year. This is often a big advantage in a household where there are children or pets, or where space is at a premium.
• Grass seeding has proved increasingly popular over the years as people have begun to appreciate its advantages.

The key to a quality result is undoubtedly the combination of our specialised equipment (as used by turf producers themselves to seed their fields) and the expert techniques developed since our early days in Golf course construction.

Over the years we have learned how to cope with all types of soil, surface compaction, stone and debris contamination. Our compact tractor and stone-burying cultivator combination makes light work of even the harshest operating conditions. As the machine cultivates it grades and levels the soil, "conditioning" it into an ideal seed-bed . Seeding an area allows us to specifically select a mixture suited to the site and the client's usage. It usually takes six to nine weeks to first cut, which is not a high price to pay when the cost savings can be considerable on larger lawns (over 250m²). In the long term, the quality of the lawn is not compromised by seeding it.
