Links Turf Layers are CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) registered, CHAS Accredited and approved by Constructionline under the National Pre-Qualification Service (Reg No. 56344) for Landscape sports facilities and playgrounds (partnering), sports grounds (grass) and sports ground (grass) term contracts.

Teanby Design & Build at WalthamOn Commercial sites, we are often faced with poor quality soil, compaction caused during construction, and stone or debris contamination.

Whether preparing an area for grass seeding or for turf laying, we have developed a series of operations to overcome these problems and achieve optimum preparation. Our compact tractor and RotaDairon stone-burying cultivator makes light work of such situations. The machine grades and levels the soil to create an level stone-free seed bed - even in the harshest of operating conditions.

Commercial projects often operate within tight budgets, therefore as the size of the development increases, a quality seeded result becomes more attractive.

  • Turf Laying provides immediate completion to a site and can be in use within two to three weeks depending on the time of year. All that is needed following completion is the necessary watering and aftercare; turf laying provides the ideal solution when time is short and an instant result is required.
  • Seeded areas typically need from six to nine weeks to establish ready for first cut. Seeding an area allows us to specifically select the most suitable grass mixture for that site. High seeding rates and our expertise in soil preparation ensure that establishment is as quick and even as possible. Significant cost savings can be made by seeding an area, and in the long term the quality of the grassed area is not compromised.

We welcome enquiries from local builders and developers, Civil Engineering companies, County & Town Councils, village associations across the country. Client references, Health & Safety Policy, Environmental policy, site specific method statements and risk assessments are available upon request.

For all our customers Links Turf Layers (UK) provides full aftercare information, follow-up visits, and also undertakes professional maintenance work if requested.

“Both the seeding and the turf laying works have been carried out to the very highest standards, and of the 20 houses on four building sites we have had nothing but praise from the house buyers for the finished gardens and lawns that you have delivered.” Mark Barford, MD, Barford Builders

“We have used Links Turf Layers (UK) for all our landscaping needs for many a year now. From the initial site meeting to discuss planting needs to the actual laying of turf, planting of shrubs or sowing of seed - the whole operation is first class and very professionally carried out by Stephen and his staff. From a small back lawn, large front garden or a large communal shrubbed area we can vouch for Stephen's expertise, experience and caring professional attitude in delivering a quality job time after time.

“We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Links Turf Layers (UK) to anyone who requires a thoroughly first class quality landscaping contract carrying out.” Paul Cook, Director of Teanby Design & Build
